Sutton Place Strategies Unveils New Technology Platform For Improved Deal Sourcing

Nov 19 2015 | 7:59pm ET

Fintech company Sutton Place Strategies has unveiled a proprietary technology platform that can improve the deal sourcing process for PE and M&A executives.

The company’s technology platform is being billed as an industry-first, interactive analytics tool that eliminates the gap between internal and external data, increasing a firm’s ability to see and close deals that otherwise might get missed.

“Our approach is specifically tailored for business development and private equity professionals dedicated to achieving best in class deal sourcing,” said Nadim Malik, CEO of Sutton Place Strategies, said in a statement. “It is grounded in our own experience as PE business development professionals as well as what we’ve learned from working closely with our clients in optimizing their deal origination.”

Sutton’s flagship Deal Origination Analytics product allows users to create a customized pathway to better direct their business development resources based on their desired outcomes by synthesizing their own internal deal sourcing, tracking, and pipeline resources with Sutton Place’s external market data. The interactive platform is accessible online and does not require any specialized training or software, according to the company.

Founded in 2009, Sutton Place Strategies combines actionable data with proprietary technology designed to quantify the addressable universe of a client's target market, serving as a roadmap to improve deal sourcing, and measure progress on a continual basis. The firm has worked with more than 170 clients since inception.
