SS&C Names Former JP Morgan Fund Admin Exec Miller as SVP

Fund administration and technology services company SS&C Technologies has announced the appointment of former JP Morgan fund administration head Stephanie Miller as senior vice president, effective April 2016.  

During both her tenure at JP Morgan and beforehand at Citco Fund Services, Miller developed and implemented strategies to increase assets under administration, improve operations, roll out new products, advance technology, and serve customers, according to a company statement. Previously, she held senior roles at Credit Suisse First Boston, The Capital Markets Company, CDC North America, and FGIC Capital Markets, Inc.

Miller will report to Rahul Kanwar, who is head of SS&C Alternative Assets. She brings nearly 15 years running top-ten fund admin businesses and extensive expertise in dealing with local regulators and compliance for multi-jurisdictional governance. 

As a member of the company’s senior executive team, Miller will help shape the overall alternatives business strategy, noted SS&C, and will be responsible for pre-sales and implementations with a special focus on developing and implementing solutions for the largest global fund managers.

Founded in 1986, Connecticut-based SS&C is a leading fund administrator for both onshore and offshore hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds. The company counts some 10,000 financial services organizations as clients, who manage an aggregate $44 trillion in assets.
