Wilshire Funds Management Launches New Platform With Tech Provider Vestmark

Wilshire Funds Management has announced the launch of a new advisor platform that leverages key technology from financial solutions provider Vestmark.

The new offering, named the Wilshire Wealth Management Platform, is an end-to-end solution that provides institutions, registered investment advisors, and family offices with turnkey access to Wilshire’s market-tested investment strategies and research, according to a company statement.

The new platform provides investors with a single institutional-quality source for comprehensive set of asset management services and technology, according to Wilshire Funds Management president Jason Schwarz. “While a number of existing providers offer varying features, it’s challenging to find one that performs the complete range of asset management tasks well,” he said in the statement.

The technology underlying the Wilshire Wealth Management Platform eliminates the disparate technology infrastructure that prevents many advisors from delivering their investment advice to clients, Wilshire noted. It combines the company’s manager research and selection capabilities with a range of tools for proposal generation, portfolio construction and ongoing management, tax overlay, and customized reporting.

Wilshire Funds Management is a unit of global investment manager Wilshire Associates, home to a wide range of consulting services, analytics solutions and customized investment products for plan sponsors, investment managers and financial intermediaries. The company offers investment advisory services, retirement services and hedge fund managed account services to banks, broker/dealers, asset managers, insurance companies and retirement plan providers, advising on more than $148 billion as of 12/31/15.
