Broadridge Financial Solutions has announced the launch of its new Solutions Partner program, a global channel sales initiative that enables leading consulting, technology and servicing firms to offer expanded technology solutions that leverage Broadridge’s suite of products and services.

The new initiative provides a flexible forum for partner firms to develop new offerings, explore common customers and reach new clients through global access to the company’s technology solutions across wealth management, asset management, capital markets and corporate issuer segments. In addition, the Solutions Partner program also offers a set of sales enablement resources, technical training services and a market-leading financial benefits package.

To lead the initiative, Broadridge has hired 20-year industry veteran and former Informatica Software executive Ira Newman, who will build out a formalized global channel sales program leveraging Broadridge’s sales team. He joins Broadridge with two decades of experience in technology, consulting and channel sales within financial services. Prior to Broadridge, he spent seven years at Informatica in charge of its North American Partner business, and has held senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, CA Technologies and EMC Consulting.

Newman will report to Tim McConnell, senior vice president and head of the Strategic Solutions Group at Broadridge, according to a company statement.

“There is a clear opportunity for partners and allies to be an extension of Broadridge’s go-to-market capabilities,” said Chris Perry, president of Global Sales, Marketing and Solutions at Broadridge, in the statement. “The Broadridge Solutions Partner Program provides an excellent foundation of collaboration designed to drive customer success, strengthen distribution networks and accelerate sales growth.

“Under Ira’s leadership, this initiative enhances our current model by expanding our reach and market share into new markets and business segments, while enabling our trusted partners to increase their market opportunities and better meet their clients’ evolving needs,” he added.

Spun off from Automatic Data Processing in 2007, Lake Success, NY-based Broadridge is a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions for broker-dealers, banks, alternative asset managers, mutual funds and corporate issuers globally. Broadridge's infrastructure underpins proxy-voting services for over 90% of public companies and mutual funds in North America, and processes on average $5 trillion in equity and fixed income trades per day.
