Logica Capital Advisors Hires Greenblatt for Business Development Role

Quantitative multi-strategy specialist Logica Capital Advisers has hired Steven Greenblatt as its head of business development. 

The position is new, according to information seen by FINalternatives. Greenblatt will be responsible for sales, marketing and investor relations activities at the firm.

Prior to his new role, Greenblatt was director of institutional sales for Causeway Capital Management, where he focused on global long/short and emerging market strategies. Beforehand, he was an executive director for institutional sales for Steve Eisman’s hedge fund firm FrontPoint Partners and held a similar role at alternative investment manager First Quadrant.

Founded in 2012 by industry veterans Wayne Himelsein and Lionel Tapiero, Los Angeles-based Logica firm manages a multi-strategy portfolio that allocates across equity and options strategies through quantitative and/or systematic methods. The firm returned more than 10% in 2015 and is up 4% for the year-to-date through early June.
