Dyal Capital Partners Acquires Small Stake in Silver Lake Partners

Tech investment firm Silver Lake Partners announced that private equity company Dyal Capital Partners acquired a passive, non-voting interest of less than 10% in Silver Lake in an all-primary transaction.

According to the company, the proceeds will be used by Silver Lake for new growth initiatives and to extend the strength of its global investing capabilities, according to the company.

Evercore served as financial advisor to Silver Lake in the transaction.

Based in Menlo Park, Calif., with offices in London, New York, Silicon Valley, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Silver Lake works a number of high-profile tech clientele ranging from Dell to Intelsat with more than $24 billion in combined assets under management and committed capital.
