Deutsche Asset Management launched the Deutsche Invest I Global Bonds High Conviction fund on Aug. 4 to Bernhard Falk.

The high conviction fund, formally introduced in Luxembourg, intends to a hold a specific portfolio, which includes government and corporate bonder issues, fixed income assets and convertible and financial bonds, according to an article in Citywire. The fund was launched initially with roughly $26.6 million.

Similar to a strategy Deutsche AM used for a German investors fund in 2014, this portfolio targets users who are interested in growth performance that go beyond the capital market rates. Additionally, derivative financial instruments are also available for investment through the fund.

Falk will be responsible for supervising the fund in addition to the DWS Inter-Renta he has ran since 2011, according an article in Citywire. The fund is listed for sale in Luxembourg currently. No one has revealed exactly who will be able to use the fund.

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Deutsche AM is a pillar of the Deutsche Bank Group with products and solutions that provide flexible access to a wide range of investment opportunities across all asset class, including active and passive funds, institutional mandates, and structured products. Deutsche has $842 billion of assets under management as of March 31, 2016.
