JP Morgan Asset Management Promotes New Global Head of Equities

JP Morgan Asset Management announced the promotion of Paul Quinsee, who will be the new global head of equities. He will start in the fourth quarter of 2016.

In his new role, Quinsee will oversee more than 400 investment professionals and $430 billion managed assets, according to an article in Citiwire.

Quinsee will be replacing Martin Porter, who spent 32 years at JP Morgan, according to an article in Citiwire. Quinsee will be based in New York, reporting to Chief Executive of global investment management Chris Wilcox.

Prior to his promotion, Quinsee was chief investment officer and managing director of U.S. equities for the company, according to the Citiwire article.

J.P. Morgan Alternative Asset Management has $12.9 billion in assets under management across approximately 90 funds. It has managed multi-manager funds since 1995.
