JW Childs Bolsters Team With Three New Hires

Buyout firm J.W. Childs Associates has hired former Grove Street Advisors executive Philippe Schenk as its investor relations head, and strengthened its due diligence, analysis and monitoring staff through the addition of Kyle Casella and Jess Yuan.

Prior to his new role, Schenk was a principal at private equity firm Grove Street Advisors and a director at Credit Suisse where he was most recently in the alternative capital Division. He is a CFA charterholder.

Casella, who will join J.W. Childs as a vice president, previously worked in the Boston office of Weston Presidio where he focused on investments in the consumer/retail and business services sectors, and at Wells Fargo Securities, where he advised middle market companies on M&A and leveraged finance transactions. 

Yuan, who comes aboard as an analyst, was previously an investment banking analyst for Deloitte Corporate Finance.
