Proskauer Hires Arora as Partner in Private Investment Funds Group

Global law firm Proskauer has named Monica Arora as a partner in its private investment funds group.

Arora will advise fund managers across the full asset class on fund structuring and management company arrangements, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt, according to the company. She will also work on both primary and secondary portfolio transactions. 

Arora joins Proskauer from White & Case. She will be based out of New York.

Her extensive experience working with sponsors and investors both in the US and internationally will be of great value to our clients as they navigate current market changes,” notes Howard Beber, co-head of the private investment funds group at Proskauer.

Proskauer has one of the largest private investment fund practices globally. In the year, the firm has advised sponsors in closing more than 100 funds with over $26 billion in committed capital, advising leading asset managers such as Ares Management, General Catalyst and Ardian.

Globally, Proskauer has more than 700 lawyers working out of 13 offices across approximately 50 practice areas.
