Hazeltree Taps JPM's Ventura to Lead Client Management

Integrated treasury management specialist Hazeltree has appointed industry veteran and former J.P. Morgan executive Sal Ventura as head of client relationship management. 

Ventura will be primarily focused on managing client relationships to ensure senior-level sponsorship and connectivity between clients and Hazeltree, the company said. This will include prioritizing client requests once they are fully implemented with Hazeltree, and maximizing the value of Hazeltree’s solutions to clients on a continuous basis.  

Ventura brings 25 years of experience in the prime brokerage, product development and operations space. He was most recently as managing director and global head of client services for the J.P. Morgan custody and fund services business. Beforehand, he was global head of Citigroup’s investment banking and private banking operations & middle office. Before Citi, he spent ten years in prime brokerage at Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers as global head of prime broker client services. 

Early in his career, Ventura was with the financial services practice of Price Waterhouse, auditing banks, broker dealers, investment companies and alternative managers.
