Cloud-based software provider AlphaDesk has announced expansion into Europe and the establishment of a London office.
The fintech company, which provides real time order, portfolio and operations management tools to hedge fund managers worldwide through a managed cloud service, recently opened an office in New York.
"The AlphaDesk front-to-back platform continues to win new clients in London, Dublin and across Europe,” said Sue Phoa, managing director of development, in a statement. “Now is the time to accelerate our growth plans with a U.K. presence, and a direct sales model that is focused on how hedge funds and asset managers buy here, which is a little different to the U.S.”
The firm recently won the HFM U.S. award for best technology for small/start-up funds.
Founded in 2008, Alphadesk is part of SGGG Portfolio Systems Company. The firm’s managed cloud service supports multiple portfolios, strategies, asset types, currencies and custodians in a single, integrated solution.
Advantages of the system include performance, functionality, and value for money, Alphadesk said in the statement.
