Value Partners Group Name Au New Chief Executive

Hong Kong-based Value Partners Group has named Dr. Au King Lun as CEO as the firm strengthens its management team in order to capitalize on what it terms “an era of golden opportunities." 

Au’s appointment is effective immediately, according to a company statement. As CEO, he takes charge of the group’s business and corporate affairs and will report to the company’s chairman, Cheah Cheng Hye.

Prior to taking his new role, Au was CEO of Eastspring Investments (Hong Kong) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prudential Plc of the United Kingdom. Beforehand, he was CEO of BOCHK Asset Management Ltd., and held various senior management positions at other financial institutions including 11 years’ service with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong.
