Global independent fund administrator Apex Fund Services has hired Daniel Strachman as head of business development for the company’s U.S. unit.
In his new role at Apex, Strachman will drive U.S. growth initiatives and deliver fund management clients with proactive fund administration solutions, the company said in a statement.
Strachman brings more than twenty years of in-depth financial services experience to the position. Previously, he held positions at Cantor Fitzgerald and Morgan Stanley, and delivered strategic guidance, counsel and support to investment management companies and institutional investors for sixteen years as managing partner of hedge fund consultancy A&C Advisors.
Strachman is also the author of nine investment strategy books, including “The Fundamentals of Hedge Fund Management” and “Getting Started in Hedge Funds.”
