European private equity company Silverfleet Capital has named former Credit Suisse executive Andrew Harrison as the company’s head of investor relations.

Harrison will be tasked with developing the company’s relationships with investors around the world, Silverfleet said in a statement. He will be based in London.

Harrison joins Silverfleet from Credit Suisse, where he was a member of the private fund group working on buyout, energy, credit and infrastructure funds. Most recently, he was responsible for the group’s origination and due diligence activities across Europe and Asia.

“We are very pleased that Andrew has decided to join Silverfleet to manage our investor relations function,” said Neil MacDougall, managing partner at Silverfleet Capital, in the statement. “Having worked very closely with him during the raising of our second fund we expect that he will make a significant contribution to our firm in this role.”

Based in London, Silverfleet Capital has been an active European mid-market private equity investor for more than 30 years, and currently currently manages around €1.2 billion. The company’s second independent fund closed in 2015 with commitments of €870 million.
