Hermes Taps Anderson For Consultant Relations Role

Hermes Investment Management has named former Lazard executive Douglas Anderson as head of consultant relations.

Anderson will be responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships with UK and European based consultants, Hermes said in an email to FINalternatives. He w8ll be based in London and report into Mark Miller, Head of UK & MENA Institutional. 

Anderson brings more than 20 years of investment management experience to his new role. He was previously head of consultant relations at Lazard Asset Management, and beforehand was a consultant relationship manager at Capital International for eleven years. He also held previous consultant and actuarial roles at Bacon & Woodrow (now Aon Hewitt) and Hymans Robertson.

“Hermes has established itself as a manager of choice for many of the world’s leading institutions,” said Miller in the statement. “Douglas’ extensive experience, knowledge of the industry and broad network of relationships will be instrumental in developing our institutional client base.” 

Headquartered in London, Hermes manages £28.6 billion on behalf of more than 330 clients across equities, fixed income, alternatives and real estate strategies.
