Gen II Fund Services Names McMenimen As Senior Managing Director

Independent private equity fund administration specialist Gen II Fund Services has named Shawn McMenimen as senior managing director responsible for various client relationships and oversight of the company’s compliance department. 

In his new role, McMenimen will work closely with Steven Alecia, Gen II’s chief client officer, and Yuliana Gekhel, senior managing director, to optimize technology and control processes to support business growth.  

McMenimen brings more than 17 years of private equity fund administration experience to his new position. He joins Gen II from State Street, where he led a large global team as a managing director of private equity fund administration and limited partner performance & analytics in the Alternative Investment Solutions division. He joined State Street as part of the acquisition of Investors Bank and Trust Company in 2007, and was a senior leader in the development and growth of State Street’s private equity offering as well as the development of an administration model for the unique requirements of BDC’s.
