ML Capital has announced the launch of a new UCITS-compliant convertible absolute return fund in partnership with Quest Global Advisors.
The new Dublin-domiciled fund, named the MontLake Quest Convertible Absolute Return UCITS fund, utilizes a fundamentally and quantitatively-driven strategy that seeks to capitalize on global macro cycles of equity, credit and interest rates, according to the company.
Connecticut-based Quest Global Advisors was founded in 2012 and focuses on liquid, high-quality convertible and equity-linked securities with a low volatility return profile.
Managers on the new fund will be Frank Campana and James Doolin, who currently co-manage the Quest Convertible Absolute Return UCITS fund, Citywire noted in an article on the launch. Quest partnered with structuring advisory and seeding firm Genesis Advisors on the new fund.
ML Capital’s MontLake UCITS Platform, with 21 funds, is an independent platform for UCITS vehicles providing investors with access to a range of liquid, transparent and regulated investment products domiciled in Dublin. Founded in 2009, the company specializes in a range of alternative and traditional investment solutions for a global client base, with over $3.1 billion of assets under management across a suite of products.
