Quantitative hedge fund AQR Capital Management has reportedly hired Morgan Stanley chief compliance officer Bill Fenrich to be its chief legal officer.

Fenrich has been in the Morgan Stanley position since March 2016, when he took over for retiring CCO Stuart Breslow. He will be replaced by former Davis Polk & Wardwell litigation partner Raul Yanes, according to a Reuters article citing internal Morgan Stanley documents.

Yanes also served in the President George W. Bush administration as assistant to the president and senior counselor to the AG.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley’s legal department in 2014, Fenrich was general counsel at Zach Schreiber’s hedge fund PointState Capital, which was formed in 2011 with backing from famed investor Stanley Druckenmiller.

Additional details of Fenrich’s new position, including his start date, were not immediately available.
