Pryor Cashman Adds Structured Finance Specialist Schouten To Investment Practice

Pryor Cashman has added leading structured finance and derivatives attorney Anthony Schouten to its investment management practice.

Shouten will be based in New York, according to a statement. He joins the firm from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he was a partner.

"Anthony's unique skillset perfectly complements our current offerings and builds upon the talents of our team,” said Ronald Shechtman, Pryor Cashman's managing partner. "He is highly respected in the field and we are thrilled to welcome him to the firm." 

In his practice, Schouten represents borrowers, investors and major investment banks in structured credit transactions, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).  He also assists banks, funds and corporate end users in swap documentation, including ISDA master agreements, credit support agreements and related account control agreements, interest rate swaps and equity derivatives.  His clients include major investment and commercial banks, leading asset managers, CLO investors and operating companies.
