Real asset placement agent and advisory firm Park Madison Partners has hired former MetLife Investment Managers executive and Amy Cummings as a partner, expanding its senior distribution team as investor demand for private real estate strategies grows.

In her new position, Cummings will focus on broadening the firm’s North American investor relationships and sourcing new best-in-class managers, the company said in a statement.

Cummings is a real estate veteran with experience in acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, and investor relations, Park Madison continued. At MetLife Investment Partners, she was a managing director responsible for the development and management of relationships with institutional investors and consultants. Beforehand, she was with JPMorgan Asset Management for nearly 15 years, helping to expand the company’s real assets group into the institutional advisory space. Previously, she served as a portfolio manager at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, owned a majority interest in Net Lease Partners, and started her career at W.P. Carey in 1982.

“Amy has been a good friend of Park Madison for many years and is highly regarded throughout the real estate industry,” said Park Madison founder Nancy Lashine. “We are thrilled to have her join us, and believe she will further enhance Park Madison’s reputation as a leader in real estate capital markets.”

Park Madison Partners is a New York-based capital raising and advisory firm focused on the global real estate private equity and alternative investments industry. Since its formation in 2006, Park Madison has participated in the placement of over $9 billion in private equity capital.
