Thomas H. Lee Partners Names Maxon Head Of Capital Markets

Private equity company Thomas H. Lee Partners has named former J.P. Morgan Securities executive Gregory Maxon as head of capital markets. 

Maxon’s appointment to the position, which is new, was effective May 23, 2017. He will be based in Boston and will lead capital markets related activities across THL’s growing portfolio, the company said in a statement. He will also be an member of all of the firm’s transaction teams, responsible for building and maintaining THL’s financing and banking relationships across industry verticals.

Maxon joins THL from J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, where he served in the leveraged finance group since 2007. He was responsible for structuring and executing high yield bond and leveraged loan transactions for J.P. Morgan’s financial sponsor and corporate clients, mainly focused on the healthcare industry. Maxon began his career at J.P. Morgan in 2004 as an analyst in the credit risk group, where he focused primarily on financings for financial sponsor-backed transactions.
