Fund administration software company KOGER has added new modules to its PENTAS private equity platform that address fundraising and deal flow requirements and will streamline and automate the administration of PE funds.

The new modules will work with all fund structures, including pure private equity funds, master feeder and fund of funds, the company said in a statement. PENTAS provides PE fund managers with increased ability to track commitments, process capital calls and calculate distributions. The platform, which is part of KOGER’s flagship NTAS fund administration platform, also automates the distributions process, from return of capital and preferred return, to the distribution waterfall and carried interest splits.

“With these modules, we provide private equity firms with a comprehensive platform that automates both the back and front office,” said Ras Sipko, KOGER’s COO, in the statement. “The fundraising and deal flow modules are optional add-ons to our PENTAS software that we can easily turn on as clients want them.”

KOGER’s NTAS supports more than 8,000 funds with $2 trillion in assets. It handles a wide range of administrative and compliance-related tasks, including daily transfer agency recordkeeping, investor registration, cash management, trade processing, compliance, reporting and fee processing.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in New Jersey, KOGER was a pioneer of fund administration solutions for alternative investments.  Over time, the company’s signature NTAS product developed into a comprehensive fund administration platform that now serves the entirety of the investment industry. NTAS is now used by many of the largest funds, fund administrators and financial institutions in the world.
