Lovell Minnick Hires Zlateva As Vice President

Private equity company Lovell Minnick Partners has named former UBS Securities executive Roumi Zlateva as a vice president in the firm’s New York office.

In her new role, Zlateva will assist with the firm’s evaluation of new investment opportunities, due diligence and transaction structuring, Lovell Minnick said in a statement. 

Zlateva brings broad experience in principal investing and corporate advisory work to her new position. She was most recently a director in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Securities, where she providing strategic advice and transaction support to clients in the specialty finance sector. Prior to UBS, Zlateva was an Associate at Oak Hill Capital Partners focused on investments in the business and financial services sectors. She began her career as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley.

“Roumi’s skills and experience in corporate advisory, origination and structuring are highly complementary to Lovell Minnick as we continue to build our team of talented professionals,” said Jeffrey Lovell, co-chairman of Lovell Minnick Partners, in the statement. “We believe her previous experience in private equity, along with her portfolio company management skills and results-driven work ethic, will help further strengthen our investment and operational capabilities.”

The firm has raised more than $1.7 billion in committed capital since inception, and completed investments in more than 30 companies. Targeted investment areas include asset management, financial product distribution, insurance, banks, specialty finance, and related technology and business services.
