GPB Capital has recruited veteran healthcare specialist and former Integrity Healthcare Advisors CEO Dotty Bollinger to manage its new healthcare strategy.

In her new role, Bollinger will be responsible for assisting the company with sourcing, structuring, finalizing, and monitoring acquisitions of healthcare companies that focus on women's health, physical therapy, and other related fields.

Bollinger brings more than 30 years of experience to the new post. Before coming aboard, she was chief executive officer of Integrity Healthcare Advisors, a national healthcare practice consulting firm. Previously, she was president and COO of Laser Spine Institute, where she led the team that helped the firm achieve a national footprint, oversaw all corporate and medical operations, and recruited surgeons and key executive staff.

"Dotty has an impressive track record of working closely with healthcare companies to achieve the next level of growth and profitability, while delivering medical innovations directly to patients and driving outstanding financial results to investors," said David Gentile, founder and CEO of GPB Capital. "[Her] broad expertise and experience will assist us greatly as we look to partner with management teams at established healthcare companies across the country."

GPB Capital emerged from the corporate advisory and public accounting firm Gentile, Pismeny & Brengel LLP, which was founded in 1972. The New York-based company focuses on income-producing private equity opportunities in necessity-based sectors, such as retail automotive, waste management, managed IT, and now, healthcare. The firm has more than $1.2 billion in AUM and has acquired or invested in more than 100 portfolio companies.
