Pictet Asset Management Taps Pine River's Pearce For Total Return Credit Team

Swiss investment manager Pictet Asset Management, a unit of the Geneva-based private banking company Pictet Group, has recruited former Pine River Capital executive Evan Pearce as a senior investment manager within the company’s total return credit team.

Pearce will be based in London, according to an article in Citywire, and work alongside credit specialists Kazik Swiderski and Maani Hariri. He was head of European credit for Pine River until August of last year, and held the same role at Citadel Investment Group from 2005 to 2009.

Tracing its heritage to 1805, Pictet Asset Management is a division of the Pictet Group, which offers wealth management, asset management and related asset services. A UN PRI signatory, the company manages approximately $185 billion across equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative strategies for some of the world’s largest pension funds, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, intermediaries and their clients.
