Gridiron Capital Names Hapgood To Investor Relations Role

Private equity company Gridiron Capital has named former NovaFund Advisors executive Kallie Hapgood as managing director, investor relations.

Hapgood has an extensive background in the private equity industry and numerous relationships with institutional investors, the company said in a statement. Prior to joining Gridiron, she was a principal at NovaFund, where she worked with a variety of general partners across geographies and fund types including buyout, growth and venture capital, credit and distressed debt, mezzanine, and fund of funds.  Beforehand, she was a vice president at Knight Capital Partners, an advisory boutique for alterative managers, and also worked at State Street Global Advisors.  She began her career at Merrill Lynch.  

Founded in 2006 and based in New Canaan, CT, Gridiron Capital focuses on acquiring and building middle-market manufacturing, services and specialty consumer companies in the United States and Canada. The company raised $850 million in capital commitments for its third buyout fund in October 2016.
