Investment industry technology provider Eze Software has promoted Laura Ryan to the role of head of sales for Asia-Pacific as the company continues to expand across the region.

Previously, Ryan oversaw sales in Southeast Asia and Australia, the company said. She will add responsibility for Hong Kong sales and position Eze Software to respond to rising client demand – reflected by eight of the 10 largest hedge fund managers in the region now counted among Eze’s clients.

The company has seen strong growth in the APAC region, signing 38 clients ranging from start-up managers with less than $50 million in AUM to multi-billion dollar institutional asset managers since the beginning of 2016. Overall growth has been strong as well: the company has added a total of 416 new clients across all major market regions over the same time frame, with 60 more their use of Eze Investment Suite with one or more applications.

Ryan has been with Eze Software for five years, rising through the ranks from salesperson to leading Southeast Asia sales, the company added. Since the opening of a global R&D and client service support center in Hyderabad in 2016, the teams in Asia Pacific have grown to over 200 from 45.

Headquartered in Boston, Eze Software is a global leading provider of investment management software solutions designed to optimize operational and investment alpha throughout the entire investment process. The company services more than 2,500 buy-and sell-side institutions in 45 nations from 15 offices worldwide, including broker-dealers, endowments, family offices, hedge funds, institutional asset managers, mutual funds, pension funds, and wealth managers across a range of investment strategies.
