BTIG Names Rollins As Head Of U.S. Execution Services

Institutional trading and fund services provider BTIG has named former Goldman Sachs executive Christopher Rollins as managing director and head of U.S. execution services.

In his new role, Rollins will focus on developing client solutions and growing BTIG’s U.S. institutional equity business, the company said in a statement. He will be based in New York and report to Richard Blank, Jr., head of global equities at BTIG. 

Prior to joining BTIG, Rollins spent more than 15 years at Goldman Sachs in several key leadership roles. Most recently, he was a co-head of European Execution Services in London. Previously, Mr. Rollins spent more than a decade in the New York office, where he was a managing director in institutional equities focused on executing cash equities and derivatives.

Founded in 2005 by traders Scott Kovalik, Kevin Chessen, Cordy Snyder, Steven Starker and Brian Sklar, BTIG specializes in global trading, prime brokerage and fund services for hedge funds, mutual funds, separate accounts and family offices. The company performs institutional trading of equities, derivatives, ETFs, credit, foreign exchange and commodities as well as investment banking, research and related brokerage services.
