Irvington, N.Y.-base hedge fund firm RiverEdge Capital Partners has added former Banc of America managing director and sell-side analyst Glenn Novarro to its team.

Prior to his stint at Banc of America, Novarro was a director at Credit Suisse.

RiverEdge Capital is a global long/short equity fund, which employs a fundamental, bottom-up approach to stock selection. The firm was formed in early 2005 by Jeffrey Siegel, CIO, and Robert Lande, CEO.

“Our firm has achieved yet another important milestone,” said Siegel. “For RiverEdge Capital to have Glenn join our firm out of all the opportunities available to someone with his background and character is extremely exciting.”
