The head of activist hedge fund manager Third Point has finally closed on $45 million pied-a-terre at 15 Central Park West, where he’ll be neighbors of Sting, Bob Costas and Denzel Washington. Loeb went to contract on the penthouse, which features panoramic views and a 700-square-foot terrace, in November 2005.
