Jordan Foster has joined Intrepid Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund manager, as a managing director.
Foster joins the firm from Fred Alger Management, where he was senior vice president and manager of consultant relations.
In his new role at Intrepid, Foster will work closely with Todd Nabi, also a managing director.
“We're being proactive in broadening our distribution and client service efforts,” said Steven Shapiro, president of the firm. “Jordan will help drive the evolution of our communication practices with clients, with institutional consultants, and with the institutional community.”
Intrepid was founded in a decade ago by Shapiro and Mike Au, and received backing from George Soros.
