MPM Capital, a healthcare venture capital and hedge fund firm, has added a pair of experts to its team of executive partners.
Robert Millman, an intellectual property lawyer, and Elizabeth Stoner, a 20-year medical research veteran, will both work out of MPM’s Boston office.
“Robert and Liz bring to MPM expertise that further enhance the capabilities of our senior investment team,” Ansbert Gadicke, the firm’s founding general partner, said.
Millman has served as chief intellectual property counsel for a variety of pharmaceutical companies, including Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Celera Genomics and Infinity Pharmaceuticals. Stoner worked for 22 years at Merck Research Laboratories. She was vice president of global clinical development operations at her retirement.
