Fortis Hires New Asian Director

Fortis Prime Fund Solutions has hired Edith Ngan as regional managing director for its Asian operation. She takes overall charge of its offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, and will introduce the Fortis PFS suite of services to new markets.

Ngan joins Fortis PFS from the Principal Financial Group where she was chief operations officer for Greater China, overseeing the full service retirement and investment operation in Hong Kong and the mutual fund joint venture with China Construction Bank in Beijing.

Fortis PFS currently services some US$28 billion in assets under administration in Asian hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and private equity/real estate funds.
