FINalternatives has learned that Jeffrey Everett, founder of New York-based EverKey Global Management, is launching the EverKey Global Fund, a long/short, emerging markets vehicle, next month.
Everett declined to comment on the new offering, referring queries to the firm’s chief operating officer, Ed Heaney, who did not respond by press time.
The firm has also hired Jeffery Lazar as its chief financial officer.

In this capacity, he oversaw all portfolio management responsibilities for mutual fund portfolios and activities within the Templeton Global Equity Group, and served as lead portfolio manager for several funds for both U.S. and non-U.S. investors, including the Templeton World Fund, a multi-billion dollar global mutual fund.
