Dec 1 2005 | 9:50pm ET

Fixed-income specialist Seagate Global Advisors is readying for the launch of its next fund, the Seagate Global Income Fund. Chris Sutter, who joined the Redondo Beach, Calif.-based firm in October as head of marketing and investor relations, said the new fund is a derivative product of a separate account that the firm has been running for five-and-a-half years.

He said the fund would be launched in early January, but declined to elaborate on the details.
