Ashton Bradbury is stepping aside as manager of Old Mutual’s UK Specialist Equity hedge fund to enter the firm’s boardroom.

Bradbury, who will also stop managing the firm’s UK Select Mid Cap fund next year, has been named Old Mutual’s first head of equities, focusing on broader strategy issues and business development. He will no longer have day-to-day money management responsibilities.

Luke Kerr, who manages Old Mutual’s UK Dynamic Equity Hedge Fund, will take over the Specialist Equity fund.
