Allianz Group Subsidiary Launches 130/30 Strategies

Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, a San Diego-based subsidiary of the Allianz group, has launched a trio of 130/30 strategies. 

The firm’s US Systematic Large Cap Growth 130/30 and the US Systematic Small-Mid Cap 130/30 both use its quantitative platform and proprietary investment models, while the Global Equity 130/30 employs a bottom-up approach to selecting investments.

Nicholas-Applegate was founded in 1984 and has offices in New York, London and Melbourne, Australia.
