Silver Lake, the $16 billion technology-focused private equity firm, has brought on board Miles Flint, the former president of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, as a senior advisor to the firm.

Prior to joining Sony Ericsson, Flint spent 13 years at Sony, latterly as president of marketing at Sony Europe and managing director of Sony United Kingdom.

Dave Roux, co-founder of Silver Lake said Flint’s broad technology expertise makes him “a perfect fit for Silver Lake and further strengthens our team.”
