Newly-formed private equity firm The Art Investing Group is raising a fund to invest in iconic, museum quality fine art. The firm is investing via its Global Art Investing Master Fund, a Cayman Islands-domiciled offering.

The firm believes that the fine art market remains highly inefficient, creating an investment opportunity for out-performance through active management and allowing investors to own many artworks in diverse media and styles.

The fund is benchmarked against the Mei-Moses All Art Index.
