Private equity firm TA Associates has tapped M. Roy Burns to join the firm’s Boston office as a vice president. In his new role, Burns will focus on management buyouts and growth capital investments in the financial services, business services and consumer industries.
Burns has previous experience at TA Associates, where he was an associate from 2001 to 2004. Burns received an MBA in 2006 from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
TA Associates has offices in Boston, Menlo Park, Calif., and London. The firm manages $10 billion and has invested in more than 360 companies.
