KI’s von Ripperda Joins Korean Asset Manager

Korean asset management firm Mirae Asset Global Investments has added an alternative investments veteran to its London office as it seeks to build out its European presence.

Hendrik Cosijn von Ripperda has left London hedge fund KI Asset Management as head of European ex-U.K. distribution. He served as head of distribution at KI; prior to joining the hedge fund, he worked at private equity placement firm Liberty Global Partners.

“The arrival of Mirae Asset in London underscores our determination to develop our business internationally and to continue to deliver innovative emerging market investment solutions for clients around the world,” Chunyong Rhie, head of Mirae’s British operation, said.
