Behrman Capital Adds Partner

Behrman Capital didn’t have to look far for its sixth operating partner—he was running one of the firm’s portfolio companies. The New York- and San Francisco-based private equity firm has named Lawrence Deering a partner, overseeing the firm’s healthcare portfolio.

Deering was most recently chairman and CEO of Tandem Health Care, which Behrman sold last month for $620 million.
