London-based hedge fund Thames River Capital has raised another £106 million (US$208.3 million) for its Multi Hedge+ fund.

The C share class sale, which began on May 27, brings Multi Hedge+ to £385 million (US$756.6 million). William Backhouse, chairman of the fund, said Thames River was satisfied with the fundraising effort, given “the current challenging market conditions.”

“We were confident that the excellent track record of the fund and the experience of its management team would excite further interest,” Backhouse said.
