Prviate equity firm Fidelity Equity Partners has appointed Ian Blasco as a partner based in the firm’s Boston office to help source deals in the technology, communications, and business services sectors.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Blasco was a principal at Bain Capital, where he focused on investments in technology, media and consumer retail.
“Having started his career as a consultant, Ian has proven experience in understanding complex business issues and then helping companies to solve those issues and grow,” said Brooke Ablon, partner at Fidelity Equity.
Fidelity raised its inaugural, $500 million p.e. fund in 2007.
