A former CEO of MCI and Compaq Computer Corp. has joined a leading private equity firm as a senior advisor. Michael Capellas, who left MCI in January after overseeing its merger with Verizon Communications, is the newest face at Silver Lake Partners, where he’ll advise both its top executives and value creation teams.
Capellas will work out of Silver Lake’s New York office; the firm also has an office in Menlo Park, Calif.
