Chilton Investment Company, a $9 billion Stamford, Conn.-based fund of hedge funds, has appointed Francie Heller as managing director of client relations.

In her new role, Heller will serve as an adviser to large corporate and public pension plans.

Heller joins Chilton from Bear Stearns, where she most recently served as a senior managing director and head of the pension, endowment, and foundation services group. Previously, she also served as an education director in the New York City public schools.

“Francie has an outstanding reputation as a trusted adviser to public pension plans and other institutional investors, and I am confident that she will make many valuable contributions to the continued growth and expansion of our firm,” Richard Chilton, chief executive officer, said.
