The Blackstone Group has added Thomas Stoddard to its corporate advisory business as a senior managing director. Stoddard was previously a founding partner of Barrett Ellman Stoddard Capital Partners, a private equity firm focusing on the financial services sector.
Prior to fouding Barrett Ellman, Stoddard worked at DLJ and Credit Suisse, where he specialized in providing strategic merges and acquisition advice to financial services companies.

His many years of experience advising major institutions will provide a great complement to our existing expertise across the whole financial services sector.”
