NY Firm Launches Maiden Hedge Fund

Conative Capital Management has launched its first hedge fund, a special-situations fund investing in sub-$1 billion companies.

The fundamentally driven CCM Partners Fund will consider portfolio investments in various stages of a company's life cycle, according to the firm.

Conative Capital co-founders Christopher Rossman and Louis Rabman will serve as co-managers. The pair previously co-founded Bushido Capital Partners in 2004, and served as chief investment officer and head trader, respectively, until the sale of their interests in the partnership in 2007.
