Ermitage Snags Lighthouse Credit Guru

Ermitage has appointed Daniel Eichner head of relative value strategies. Eichner joins from a rival U.S.-based fund of hedge funds, Lighthouse, where was head of credit.

Eichner will focus on manager research and selection for Ermitage’s asset selection and event-driven funds, as well as several of the Group’s multi-strategy and customized portfolios.

Previously he served as a portfolio manager at two hedge funds covering distressed and value equities, after having worked on Goldman's New York proprietary distressed desk.

Eichner reports to Ermitage chief investment officer Jonathan Wauton, and will initially be based at the firm’s London office before relocating to New York later this year.
